FPGA Core Archietecture

The X8 XVIII allows the decoding of high resolution audio streams up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and DSD512. Using an FPGA specially programmed by Aune, the X8 XVIII offers a precise, dynamic and detailed sound reproduction.

Multiple Connectivity Options

Aune’s X8 series of DACs have always featured an array of connectivity options. With the latest X8 XVIII anniversary edition DAC, Aune adds balanced TRS pre-amp output to the device along with the regular RCA Pre-amp and RCA line-out ports. As for input, we get Optical, Bluetooth, Coaxial, and USB input ports. Coaxial input allows you to connect it with other digital sources in the chain.

Interchangeable AOP

The Aune X8 XVIII takes the concept of the interchangeable AOP. This one is indeed mounted on DIP8 support and accessible under the device. You just have to replace it by another model to adapt the sound reproduction of the DAC according to your audio system and your listening.

Seven available filters

The Aune X8 XVIII provides seven filters. Just like the interchangeable AOP, these allow you to adjust the sound signature of the device according to your desires.

High-Resolution Bluetooth Input Support

Aune X8 XVIII Magic DAC gets high-resolution Bluetooth input connection support. It supports high-resolution LDAC/AptXHD/AAC Wireless Bluetooth transmission codec support. Simply connect it with smartphones, Computers, and Music Players and enjoy high-resolution music.
