The SMSL A300 adopts a high-power power amplification chip from Infineon, a well-known amplification chip manufacturer from Germany. It enables the device to provide powerful amplification to the audio signal while keeping the distortion values low and the clean, noise-free background.
SMSL comes with the NJW1194 digital volume control chip from NJRC, a famous brand from Japan. It allows the users to precisely adjust and control the output volume. It allows the users to pair both low-power requiring and high-power demanding speaker systems with the A300.
Equipped with a separate sub-woofer output, which can be used when you want to create a 2.1Ch stereo speaker set, the A300 features a high-power BLT mono mode where the amp will provide a powerful output (approx. 330W) for a big, demanding speaker.
As a high-power power amplifier for your desktop chain, SMSL A300 is designed keeping in mind the requirements of high-quality bookshelf speakers. This device outputs up to 165W of clean power at 4Ω of the load. Even at a high 8Ω impedance load, the A300 produces about 85W of clean power per channel.
It is worth mentioning that SMSL A300 supports multiple input ports including RCA, USB, and Bluetooth V5.0. It supports the latest Bluetooth V5.0 connectivity, where users can feed the signal to the A300 using their smartphones and tablets, too.
