Built-in AK4493S DAC Decoding Chip
With AKM’s new DAC decoding chip AK4493S built in, SMSL PO100AK is able to playback MQA encoded files without additional software at the distortion of only 0.00008% in field test, delivering authentic and full studio-quality sound. And PO100AK works well with foobar2000 or Audirvana for ASIO or WASAPI audio output. In addition to MQA files, native DSD and DSD64(DoP) are also supported.
XMOS 3rd-Generation USB Interface
Updated Type-C USB and UAC1/2 input with sampling rate up to 32bit/768kHz. PO100PRO provide two modes of input with an easy-to-use switch to set. The UAC1 mode works for Sony PS5 and Nintedo Switch, while XMOS 3rd Generation Type-C USB is compatible with Windows 7/8/8.1/10/11(Driver needed), Mac OSX10.6+, Linux (No Driver Required), Android, iOS and other gaming consoles.
Low-Jitter Digital Output Modes
PO100PRO not only support optical and coaxial digital but also outputs in 2 modes of 12S(I²S). The decoder and digital turntable modes are available to choose from in a switch away for 12S LVDS output that’s up to 32bit/768kHz. Equipped with a low-phase noise clock, PO100PRO’s inherent clock jitter of digital output is as low as only 75ps.
Low Power Consumption
Weighing only 75g/2.41ounce, PO100PRO USB Interface is pocket-sized and light, making it the perfect mobile device to be taken for work and trips. PO100AK consume little energy when in use and can be charged with mobile phones or other devices with Type C to Type C cable while connected, allowing you to use it for a long period of time.
